My client is an international company within Food & Beverages sector. In Belgium they have 3 sites, with headquarters in Brussels.

Jobdescription:

Main objectives of the Service Desk Agent are to provide service excellence in the areas of incident resolution, change management and configuration management.

As the main interaction point for associates from other business units he/she is one of the ambassadors of BIS.

The Service Desk Agent is member of the central West European Servicedesk based in Brussels and responsible for the receipt, logging, solving and management of end-users IT support requests including: first time fix, channeling requests for help to appropriate functions for resolution, monitoring progress and keeping users appraised of progress compliant within the set service level agreements.

Key Relationships
* Partners with other teams across BIS
* Interacts with customers in the business including field management, field operations, personnel and executives located at headquarter and/or personnel at other distributed locations

* Uses interaction and incident system to log, assign and escalate tickets
* Provides Level 1 software and hardware support
* Provides technical advice to customers
* Troubleshoots and restores technical services and/or equipment issues
* Analyzes, identifies and diagnoses faults and systems using defined processes and tools
* Serves as the key interface with the backline support teams to prevent problems, facilitates problem resolution, and provides overall outstanding customer services
* Serves as first line of support to meet customer needs in Dutch, French, English, German

* Establish and provides excellent customer service skills to direct customer groups

* Establish and maintain highly effective customer-focused working relationships with other BIS staff and 3rd party service providers

Requirements:

- Bachelor in IT or equivalent by experience
- First experience in a similar role
- Able to work under stress
- Strong communicator and multi-lingual (at least Dutch and English + French) Knowledge of German is an asset
- Willing to work in shifts (8:00 – 16:30/9:30 – 18:00) and be stand-by about every 12w (incl weekends/nights - remote)
